This year’s theme: “Educating for a Just and Sustainable Future” will attract hundreds of fellow environmental educators who focus on Climate Change Education. So, you’ll have loads of opportunities to share your work, successes and frustrations with colleagues and learn from their experiences.
Youth in Canada, Mexico and the United States will compete for the best sustainable innovation ideas to receive $5,000 in seed funding and showcase their ideas to North America’s top environmental officials.

Eligible RAY Fellow applicants will:

Alabama Nature Center Summer Camp Staff Position. Counselors are responsible for teaching outdoor education and natural science programs to groups of children of various ages while maintaining a safe learning environment. AUMNH is a research museum that has a well-developed outreach program, a developing educational program, and a few limited displays. The successful candidate will conceptualize, develop, and administer the museum's outreach and education programs.

The Science School program includes a full-time Director of EE, four Assistant Coordinators, and 8-10 seasonal Instructors each season. Seasonal Instructors facilitate a wide range of environmental, outdoor and experiential education programs, including lake ecology, herpetology, canoeing, team building, and challenge course.
Instructors will spend the majority of their time teaching, but also assist in program development/updates, outreach, animal husbandry and materials maintenance.

CEC educators provide high-quality environmental education to K-12 learners, university field science groups, and other
user groups in and around central Alabama. Our educators create community with their students and teach them about
the rich cultural history and diverse ecosystems found on our site. They inspire students to continue telling the ongoing
story of the Cahaba River watershed through inquiry-based education.
