Located on the property of the Alabama 4-H Center, the Alabama 4-H Science School provide hands-on, educational experiences that connect people of all ages to the natural world and each other, while fostering respect and understanding for the environment and stimulating critical thinking and educated decision making to engender environmental stewardship.Instructors are hired to provide programming for Science School participants, conference center groups, summer camp and outreach programs.
The 4-H Youth Development Center of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System located in Columbiana, Alabama is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator, 4-H Program Support.

This position will be the glue that weaves the relationships between the logistics planning and the summer trip, between community partners and staff, between families and the organization, and between new students and the alumni network. This person will be involved in the full planning process for summer trips, will be a trip leader on the program, and will act as an organizer and support for the alumni network.
The Director of Strategy and Development will guide an empowering participatory visioning process with our alumni, community partners, staff, and board. This person will build a strategic plan and lead the fundraising to accomplish this vision.

Discovery Hall Programs at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab is looking for a few enthusiastic individuals to fill a few remaining counselor openings in our 2019 overnight summer camps. DHP counselors act as chaperones and mentors to our campers living in the dorms with them and participating in boat trips and science activities while having fun at the coast.
