Support Environmental Education Funding in Congress

Dear EE Advocates,

It's time for our annual appropriations outreach campaign to begin in earnest over a very short window of time!

As you know, we have a huge opportunity this year: our Congressional champions are proposing healthy increases to EE funding at EPA and NOAA, and they think the House and Senate will approve these increases… but only if there’s good visible support from across the country. It takes each of us making a couple of calls or emails over the next week, especially to the 160 Representatives and 44 Senators who have supported environmental education in the past, and the 65 freshman House members and 10 Senators. Please call or email your Representative and Senators by THIS FRIDAY, April 23.

Our FY22 EE Appropriations Campaign Guide includes all of the information you need to be successful. It has appropriations details, information on the EPA and NOAA programs, and sample scripts for when you contact your Representatives and Senators. Please don’t hesitate to email if you need any help.

Thank you for all you do!
