To promote environmental education and the work of environmental educators.

Goals & Objectives

AEEA's purpose is to promote and advocate for environmental education which incorporates a number of disciplines including conservation and natural resource education. 

AEEA is a networking and information based organization that works with educators, students, business, government, and the general public to increase the awareness and knowledge about the environment.

AEEA would serve to provide communications among groups, to provide a network to share information and ideas, avoiding duplication of efforts and providing members with the opportunity to share with others with similar interests.

Current Initiatives 

AEEA works with environmental education (EE) providers to promote programs and increase capacity building of EE programs in Arkansas. Information is provided through AEEA's newsletter, The Natural State, meetings and workshops, and the biennial EE Expo
