The Guided Discoveries Intern assists the Guided Discoveries Instructor with the planning, preparation, and instruction for these theme focused day camps. The Guided Discoveries Intern also gains experience handling and teaching about native New Hampshire wildlife.
This position serves as a naturalist from September to mid-June, and Guided Discoveries summer day camp instructor from mid-June through August. Naturalists are responsible for teaching and developing school and public programs, handling and presenting live animal ambassadors, and assisting with exhibit planning and design. The Guided Discoveries Instructor is responsible for planning, prepping, and leading eight weeks of summer day camps for ages 4-12.
