As an Interpreter: Nature Play, you will lead nature-based children's play within San Antonio Zoo's Kronkosky's Tiny Tot Nature Spot. This exhibit engages young children in the natural world. Nature Play Interpreters are responsible for performing various functions, including facilitating exhibit/nature exploration, leading outdoor play, developing, coordinating, and leading nature-based activities, presenting animals to the public, storytelling, and much, much more.
As an Interpreter: Exhibit Encounters, you will lead conservation-focused encounters at various exhibits and interpretive stations throughout San Antonio Zoo. Exhibit Interpreters perform various tasks associated with delivering interactive experiences through informal, mission-aligned encounters between zoo animals and guests.

The Virginia Zoo's Education Department seeks two (2) friendly and self-motivated individuals as Education instructors for the spring and summer seasons. Instructors will work up to 24 hours per week from start date through June 19, 2021, then 40 hours per week (Monday through Firday) from June 21-August 20 with a possibility of extension. Nights and weekends may be required in the spring.
