On January 23 from 2-3 pm EST, there will be a Grants Award Process Webinar for EPA grant applicants and recipients. This is a high level webinar that covers topics related to finding and applying for grants, as well as the basics of managing an award. It will be very similar to previous webinars. EPA has announced that up to $3 million in funding for locally-focused environmental education grants will be available under the 2018 EE Local Grant Program. EPA will award three to four grants in each of EPA’s ten Regions, for no less than $50,000 and no more than $100,000 each, for a total of 30-35 grants nationwide. Deadline extended to April 11, 2018.
This activity book teaches elementary age students about the various ways the EPA and the states work together to protect the environment, wildlife, and health of our country through coloring pages, puzzles, and games.
The President's Environmental Youth Award recognizes environmental projects by young students in the US in Kindergarten - 12th grade. Two awards (K-5, and 6-12) are given in each of US EPA's 10 regions. Each award-winning project receives a Presidential plaque. Applications are due by March 1, 2018.
The PLT Program Coordinator will perform administrative tasks in support of PLT’s overall operations within the main program areas of Curriculum and Educational Materials, Professional Development, GreenSchools, and Network Management. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Curriculum and Outreach, and supports all PLT staff.
