This week-long, day camp will take place from July 20-24, 2020, and will focus on exploring the ocean using marine technologies. Campers will build and test a variety of oceanographic tools and instruments, such as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and ocean sensors, and engage with scientists who are involved in active missions to explore the otherwise “unknown ocean.” With funding from the U.S. Office of Naval Research STEM program, the ISC is able to offer a discounted cost of $200/camper for this week-long camp. Application required (deadline April 2, 2020). All applications will be reviewed and acceptance will be based on merit and teacher recommendations.
