Earth Force is looking for a Program Manager in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed who recognizes the importance of civic skills & youth voice as essential elements of developing an environmentally aware & civically engaged person. Key responsibilities for this remote position include supporting, training, & recruiting educators; coordinating youth action challenges; & connecting community partners to youth action proposals. Professional development experience desired. Remote work w/ 20% travel.
The Program Manager is a leader who works directly with educators across the state of Colorado. It is vital that this person is able to develop and sustain relationships with educators, serve as a support person for educators and schools, and work with partner organizations from across the state.
This position is responsible for supporting Earth Force community partners in delivering programs across the U.S.. This includes identifying and building partnerships with organizations across the country and providing professional development and program support in a blended learning setting. We are looking for an experienced candidate who believes in engaging young people directly in our civic system as the means to develop environmentally aware and civically engaged people.
The Communications Manager is responsible for all external communications and will work directly with the Program and Development teams to ensure consistency, clarity, and visibility of Earth Force messaging and communications including but not limited to websites, newsletters, social media, brochures, marketing materials, and webinars. The Communications Manager will also serve as a liaison with partners regarding their media and communications efforts.

This three-day conference at the Stroud Water Resource Center in Avondale, PA (July 29-31) provides hands-on training in action civics and environmental learning. Participants will gain skills in project-based learning, create a strong peer network, and learn from a variety of great guest speakers.
