Overview:

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to

  1. Development and delivery of interpretive programs for a diverse audience base including senior adults, adults, older children, and younger children;   
  2. Organize and conduct curriculum-based educational programs for school groups;    
  3. Plan and lead outdoor excursions including canoe/kayak trips, wildlife viewing van/boat tours, campground presentations,
  4. Nature walks, stream strolls, and similar activities;     
  5. Care and upkeep of live wildlife exhibits including raptors, reptiles, wolves, and 40 other native wildlife species; 
  6. Plan and maintain native plant gardens;    
  7. Facility-based interpretation in a variety of settings which are planned and executed in an appropriate manner using appropriate materials and themes.
