Overview:
Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to
- Development and delivery of interpretive programs for a diverse audience base including senior adults, adults, older children, and younger children;
- Organize and conduct curriculum-based educational programs for school groups;
- Plan and lead outdoor excursions including canoe/kayak trips, wildlife viewing van/boat tours, campground presentations,
- Nature walks, stream strolls, and similar activities;
- Care and upkeep of live wildlife exhibits including raptors, reptiles, wolves, and 40 other native wildlife species;
- Plan and maintain native plant gardens;
- Facility-based interpretation in a variety of settings which are planned and executed in an appropriate manner using appropriate materials and themes.
