Students can gain hands-on research experience under the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program. Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in STEM fields complete a cutting-edge research project at one of DOE's national laboratories or HQ under the mentorship of DOE scientists and engineers.
