Hello! Can anyone share a visual-rich chart or guide to e-waste, something I could use with middle-school students illustrate mined elements going into devices, how they are "recycled" if they are, implications for toxic exposures . . .
Or just tell me where I could look for such a thing. I'm absolutely interested in full lessons on the subject, but if nothing else I need a great chart or photo essay.
Hi Christopher, This is such an important topic to teach. If you haven't already looked at EPA's resources, you may want to check it out at https://www.epa.gov/smm-electronics. I have also included a link below to an e-waste lesson on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. This website provides lessons that other teachers have developed on various subjects.
