Hello,
Do you teach EE online? I’ve set up a space for us to share about our efforts related to teaching EE online. Please join us on Tuesday, September 26, at 1pm by clicking on https://zoom.us/j/814467334 I’ve found the Zoom platform to be user friendly—you can call in or use your computer’s microphone and video. You can also share your screen.
During our time together, I’ll share techniques that I’ve used to teach EE online and I invite you to do the same. If you haven’t taught EE online but are considering it, please come with some questions! Please sign up at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfWx90olHV0aYxUwdQIi9ctZmBgTAbI...
Take care,
Becca
Zoom Meeting - Teaching EE Online
Hello!
Thank you to those of you who participated in the Zoom meeting about teaching environmental education online. For those of you that weren’t able to make it, you can listen to the meeting by clicking on this link and then on “I agree” https://we.tl/sQVAAsL0pF
It was an interesting discussion where folks from across the country shared teaching techniques and strategies for online learning. For example, we discussed helping online students connect to their local place, assignments that meet their local needs, varying response styles and content (like using videos, music, Zoom meetings, etc.), and encouraging responses that reach an even larger audience (like posting in a blog that was available to the public).
Please feel free to share other thoughts and ideas here!
Take care,
Becca
