Preparing parents for nature-based learning

On last night's webinar Brittney Wilson asked: How do you prepare parents for risky play, injuries, getting dirty, etc.?
Great question, Brittney! I wrote a blog post about this very topic, called 5 Ways to Get Parent Buy-In. The link is below, and I recommend reading through it for some tips.
In addition to the strategies outlined in that article, I would try to provide parents with as much advance information as possible. Let them know what to expect, how they can help prepare their children, and how to handle any issues that may come up. In my experience, even parents who are initially hesitant about nature-based learning tend to get on board after a few sessions because they can immediately see all the positive impacts it is having on their child.
I've been fortunate and have not had much parent push-back with my own students, but I'd love to hear from others who may have dealt with more tricky situations.
