Art, nature, and the young child

Hamline University is accepting registration for a summer class, entitled "Art, nature and the young child" offered from June 25 through Aug 4. This course will help teachers and parents consider ways to combine art and nature in early childhood experiences. With art as our focus, we will investigate current research and best practices in early childhood development. Using hands-on and multi-sensory activities, we will create a set of resources to share with each other.

The course is online, with two field site visits required. If you are not located in MN, the instructor will work with you to identify appropriate sites to visit in your area.
Cost for participation is $354/credit.
This course may be taken on its own, or as part of Hamline's certificate in nature-based early learning. for information about the course or the certificate, contact pselly01@hamline.edu
