Infrastructure & Wildlife - A Toolkit for Crossings & Corridors

The Center for Large Landscape Conservation has published "A Toolkit for Developing Effective Projects Under the Federal Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program." The toolkit's objective is to assist applicants and partners in preparing competitive grant submissions for the $350 million dollar "Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program," part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill that passed in November 2021.

While the infrastructure grants focus on larger projects, wildlife crossing & corridor improvements can occur at all scales. As environmental educators, we can play a valuable role in raising public awareness about wildlife coexistence, cultivating partnerships, and writing effective crossing and corridor grants. Check out "the Toolkit" and see where it intersects with you current work.
