Hi everyone,
Bat Week is right around the corner, happening from Oct. 24 to 31, 2021.
I noticed that we don't have a thread about Bat Week, so I thought we could create one to collaborate on resources to celebrate it.
I'm sharing a page that Project Learning Tree has put together with free resources to use with kids.
What other useful resources do you know of, or have used in the past?
Thanks!
Bat Week Resources
Thanks for starting this! At Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle we're hosting our first ever Bat Week for educators/teachers and their students, on our brand new digital learning platform - Discovery Den! Info here (scroll down) - https://www.zoo.org/virtualprograms We have collected and developed some great resources that will be hosted here to help people in our region understand and appreciate bats. We have recently begun participating in local bat monitoring and you can find info on that here www.zoo.org/batconservation. Yay bats!
