Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer's Keynote Address at E3 Washington's conference.

E3 Washington, Education for the Environment, Equity, and the Economy, and the Washington State Affiliate to NAAEE will host its annual conference November 12th - 20.

Entitled "Wisdom from the Field, Stories from the Heart; Equitably Supporting Communities with Environmental and Sustainability Education", E3 Washington's conference presents Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer for its keynote address. We are excited to hear Dr. Kimmerer's thinking on applying native ways of knowing and being in the world to environmental and sustainability education and all are welcome to join in this exciting opportunity.

Love the E3 Washington's conference theme! I'm looking forward to Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer's keynote address!

The theme makes me think of "The Serviceberry" by Dr. Kimmerer, in which she draws insights from nature's relationships grounded in Indigenous philosophies, "I think that the Serviceberries show us another model [...] where wealth and security come from the quality of your relationships, not from the illusion of self-sufficiency."
