Topic Description: Climate change is already disproportionately impacting communities across the globe, creating an urgent need to mitigate climate change and build a just, low-carbon economy. Through education and engagement systems, we have an opportunity to build climate literacy via youth, families, teachers, and community programs to enhance community resilience. This session addresses advancing climate change education and engagement with a focus on marginalized communities vulnerable to climate change.
