The National Geographic Society is one of the largest nonprofit scientific and educational institutions in the world. National Geographic’s education initiatives fund activities promoting and advancing geographic education in the United States and Canada through state and place based programs, education resources, professional development, and communications, research, and policy initiatives, working with NAAEE on integrating EE into conservation initiatives.
