Hiring for 2017 - 2018 School year.(Late August 2017 - Early June 2018). 

Starting Pay $19.18/hour. Housing provided. Food provided during school program. Vacation, sick, and personal necessity pay after passing probationary period. 

Teach science, environmental education, and outdoor skills classes to elementary and middle school students. Lead all day field trips in Yosemite National Park and Sierra National Forest. Train, mentor, and evaluate high school cabin leader volunteers. Lead daily campfire programs by playing instruments, singing songs, and performing skits. Train visiting  teachers on outdoor school class curriculum, trails, and outdoor/experiential teaching strategies. Train, mentor, and conduct class observations for Naturalist Interns. Work collaboratively with Naturalist staff to create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
