Overview:
We are looking for two interns who are interested in sea- birds, in sharing knowledge of the natural world with the public, and who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work hard during a fun and interesting summer on the coast of Maine. Should be looking at environmental education as a likely career path, and have some experience speaking to groups of people. Will consider college students as well as college graduates. Will be responsible for learning alot about seabirds, seabird restoration, the Gulf of Maine, the Audubon movement, etc.
One position ends in late August and the other ends Oct. 31st. This longer position entails working at the Project Puffin Visitor Center five days a week once the tour boat season is over (around August. 21).
