Requirements

• Experience working with young children a must (Ages 3-11)
• Experience leading or assisting informal environmental education lessons/programs
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must pass FBI and State of Virginia Background Check

Desired Qualities

• Experience with natural history of Virginia
• Experience working/teaching in an outdoor setting
• Experience handling live animals
• Ability to work independently
• Outgoing and friendly
• Organized and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• CPR/First Aid Certified (or the ability to become within 1 month of hire)
