The Environmental Education Associate assists in the operation of the environmental education programs of the Shoreway Environmental Education Center in San Carlos and community outreach programs serving the RethinkWaste service area. The Associate leads field trips with the theme of resource conservation primarily for 3rd grade through 5th grade classes, though field trips will be tailored for other grade levels as well. The Associate will also assist with community outreach programs. The position receives day to day direction from the Environmental Education Coordinator and will work primarily at the Shoreway facility in San Carlos. The position will attend meetings and planning sessions at the Authority’s offices in San Carlos. Selected candidate(s) for the position must be able to provide own means of transportation.
