NAAEE Members Karen Hollweg, Tom Marcinkowski and Bill McBeth will be working with leaders of OECD's PISA to develop a new framework for assessing environmental literacy with the support of the National Science Foundation. This new work will be based on both the National Environmental Literacy Assessment (NELA) and the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) work to advance large-scale assessments of the knowledge, skills, dispositions and behaviors that encompass environmental literacy.
