Lee County seeks an innovative customer service-driven professional to join our team as Recreation Programmer.

This position works collaboratively with the Parks Operations Manager at San-Lee Park to perform recreation and outdoor education programs.  This position is responsible for outdoor education and recreation marketing materials.  Work is performed under the direction of the Recreation Superintendent. Typically work weeks are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and nights.

• Performs intermediate administrative and difficult technical work planning, coordinating and implementing recreation and outdoor education programs, supervising the operations and staff of the year-round camps, organizing and conducting program registration, keeping various related records and reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. 
• Continuous supervision is exercised over part time Recreation Aides and Outdoor Education personnel. 
• Development of marketing materials for programming advertisements.
