NEW POSITION & PROGRAM: The Education Program Lead is primarily responsible for youth education programs, adult outreach programs, and volunteer programs at the SOLC Rogue River Preserve (RRP) located in Eagle Point, Oregon. The lead, in conjunction with the Stewardship Director, will plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality natural science and environmental education programs to inspire youth and adults to engage in conservation through citizen science projects, volunteer land restoration tasks, research projects, and as volunteer docents. The education program lead works closely with the stewardship director and collaborates with the SOLC staff team to achieve program objectives. This position may expand to full-time in 2021 contingent on funding and level of success.
