Do you know a creative teen who cares about climate change? The One Earth Award  provides four students whose creative works address human-caused climate change with $1,000 scholarships. Additional state scholarships of $500 are available to two students from each of the following states: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. All students in grades 7–12 (ages 13 and up) are eligible to participate. 

Deadlines vary by region, with the earliest deadline falling on December 1, 2019. You can visit our guidelines and deadlines page for information on when and how students can submit their work. We accept visual art and writing across 29 categories.

Here are three easy ways you can share this scholarship opportunity with your students:

1. Mention the One Earth Award in your newsletters to students and educators using this story.
