Responsibilities:

Lead children and parents in a 1 hour birthday party program. The program includes an explanation of a lesson, hands-on investigation, outdoor exploration, active movement or games, and a craft. This is a part-time weekend position that requires a 1 1/2 - 2 hour commitment per birthday party. Parties are held at our Nature Center in Newton or at family homes in the Greater Boston area. Compensation is $60 per party.

Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience with 2-8 year olds 
Experience in outdoor education and/or degree in the natural sciences a plus
Dependable, responsible, and organized
Fun-loving, creative, and engaging
Reliable transportation is a must
