Summer Connections Facilitators reports to the Summer Connection Program Managers. The Summer Connections Program is a five-week summer learning program on Thompson Island for Boston Public School students that blends classroom work and enrichment activities to promote academic achievement and character development. Each day, Facilitators will be are responsible for extensive logistical aspects necessary for Summer Connections to function coordination for a class of 15-20 students, will be supporting Boston Public School (BPS) teachers in through the delivery of academic curriculum, and overseeing will be responsible for the delivery (and sometimes design) of enrichment experiences.  Successful Candidates will beare individuals interested in pursuing a career in the educational field, have experience mentoring urban and/or at-risk youth, and are comfortable delivering (and preferably designing) character-based building enrichment experiences independently.
