We are looking for spring staff starting March - June and summer staff June - August. Teacher naturalists, farm educators, counselors. Many positions available.

• High Ropes Course Leader (Training and certification provided - run our high ropes and climbing tower)
• Teen Adventure Program Leader (Rafting, camping, hiking, biking with our 13 and 14 year olds)
• Environmental Center Staff (animal care and environmental education)

Conveniently located 15 miles outside of Philadelphia, College Settlement's 235 acre Horsham campus is a beautiful location for hundreds of activities in our forests and wetlands, ponds and creeks,

Our Diversity

The College Settlement Camp community is a celebration of diversity. Our staff comes from a wide variety of backgrounds (last summer over 20 nationalities were represented) and our campers represent the vibrant ethnic, cultural and neighborhood diversity of the city of Philadelphia and its surrounding areas.

Our Impact

All of our summer program fees are heavily subsidized, thus ensuring that all children can afford to attend our camp.  For many of our campers, College Settlement is the only opportunity that they will get to experience the joys of camp.  Our staff leave at the end of the season knowing they made a HUGE positive impact on children and that their hard work and dedication was important and very much appreciated.

Who are we looking for?

All camp jobs are intense and require stamina and dedication - College Settlement is no different.    We look for folks who can make good judgment calls, are hard-working, self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and prepared to dive into any and all activities that we offer.   We recruit staff who will be positive role models, who are patient, compassionate and genuinely committed to the welfare and development of young people!   We put together a fun, inspirational, very capable crew.  Because of the rich diversity within our camp community, we welcome open-minded and open-hearted staff members who thrive in a culturally vibrant environment.

We are committed to making excellent programs accessible to children from ALL socioeconomic backgrounds and to guarantee that no child misses out on the summer of a lifetime because of inability to pay.  Our programs foster personal growth, provide a safe, affordable, and nurturing place for young people to enjoy the outdoors while learning about themselves, others and the environment.

Our camp hires an amazing team from around the corner and around the globe.  You will work with a diverse group of folks who bring an array of talents to our camp. You will cultivate relationships and friendships with people whose path you would otherwise never have crossed.  You may come to camp without knowing a soul but you’ll leave with great memories and some new lifelong friends.
