Overview:
Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) is seeking a Program Manager. This role focuses on creating and delivering the national Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE), with a focus on Outdoor Experiences/programming. Your Day-To-Day Includes:
- Planning and developing program curriculum offerings that customize, supplement, and enrich the national program for girls grades K – 12, addressing the five GSUSA focus areas (STEM, Entrepreneurism, Healthy Living, Environmental Stewardship, and Global Citizenship).
- Ensuring all programming incorporates the “discover-connect-take action” leadership model, is inclusive to all GirlScouts, and exposes Girl Scouts to a broad range of learning opportunities.
- Establishing and Maintaining collaborative relationships with community organizations, agencies, and businesses.
- Delivering and Supporting several signature program events throughout the calendar year, including summer programming.
- Collaborating with volunteers and program partners to plan and implement programs and activities and creating both short and long-term opportunities for volunteer involvement in programming.
- Managing GSSNE programs such as Camp Hosts, Troop Camping, Outdoor Advocates and Program Advocates, and other volunteer programs as needed.

The Program Manager is also focused on fun! The right candidate is an educator with experience in curriculum development and program implementation. Like all roles at GSSNE, the Girl Experience Program Manager is committed to supporting girl and adult membership as part of a larger cross-functional team providing customer care and support to established members. Additionally, you have:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, with four years of directly related work experience
- Outdoor learning experience and experience leading volunteers are highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; including public speaking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, multi-task, meet deadlines, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility in schedule is required and based on programs. Some weeks may follow a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, whereas others may differ from standard business hours to accommodate afternoon and night programs.
- Bilingual preferred
