Extraordinary opportunities to work in Australia for The Outdoor Education Group (OEG) providing outdoor education experiences for schools. World leading pay and working conditions make this the destination for qualified outdoor staff.
OEG works with 40,000 young Australians each year. Using activities from trekking (Bush Walk), climbing, canoeing, high and low ropes, mountain biking and rafting to deliver real and meaningful outdoor learning. Working in some of the most amazing locations on the planet, delivering programs from 3 days up to 14 days with the confidence of being supported by a dedicated and professional specialist support team. You’ll find training and support from the day you land, working in a team of likeminded outdoor educators.
We are looking for at least one year of experience working in the outdoors with a solid base of qualifications and an enthusiasm for working with young people.
We have multiple roles for January with later start dates available in 2022. We can help you understand the visa requirements and support with accommodation and settling in. Length of contract one year initially but can be extended.
Salary dependant on experience from AU$43,339 - AU$55,000 (CAD$39,845 - $50,495 and US$31,538 – $40,024) plus 10% Employer Pension Contribution (that you can claim back when you leave the country).
OEG works to an Enterprise Agreement with our staff that includes in addition to your basic salary: Overnight allowance paid at 42.8% of daily rate; paid Time in Lieu for hours worked over 8.8hrs per day; 7 weeks holiday per annum.
