Our at-school program, called Nature on Wheels (NOW), is a fun and safe way to get students learning out in nature and engaging with one another again. Even when they have to stay socially distanced. During the school week, we drive out to the schools and provide programs for 4th-8th grade students. As an educator, you would be responsible for working with a field group of 10-14 students and teaching fantastic classes such as wilderness survival, team building, and nature hiking.

Salary: Salary is $100 per day.

Accommodations: FREE SEASONAL HOUSING (April 7th - June 11th) is available in Groton, MA.  Food and transportation budgets will also be provided.

Staying Safe: Our activities have been adapted to be done 100% outside, conducted with masks, following social distancing guidelines, while also reducing the number of shared supplies. We also take multiple breaks throughout the day to clean our supplies. 

Educators will also be eligible for the covid-19 vaccine.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience working with elementary and middle school students (especially in an outdoor setting).
• Ability to travel to schools throughout New England and eastern New York.
• Ability to work as part of a team of fantastic outdoor educators.
• A passion for outdoor education.
• All staff must be 18 years of age or older.
