Job Description
PUDDLESTOMPERS is seeking a creative and energetic individual with experience in Early Education and/or STEM-Based Education to join our morning teaching team! Through hands-on exploration, STEM-based activities, and nature crafts and games, our programs are designed to foster a love of the natural world in all four seasons.

Responsibilities
This is a part-time position, approximately 12-15 hours/week. You would primarily be teaching Child/Adult Classes and Preschool Enrichments for children ages 2-7. These classes take place in the mornings (generally between 9am and 12pm) and typically last 1-3 hours. Classes are located across the Greater Boston area. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience, and will include compensation for travel time.

• Lead children in weekly Preschool Nature Enrichments through guided lessons, nature exploration and play. Enrichments are held at various preschools across Greater Boston, and will take place outdoors, or indoors during inclement weather.
• Lead children and caregivers in weekly Child/Adult Classes through hands-on exploration, activities, songs, games, crafts, and stories. Child/Adult Classes are located at various public green spaces, parks, and conservation land across Greater Boston.

Schedule is flexible. Opportunities available in both Spring & Summer 2022.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in Early Childhood Education
• Experience in outdoor education and/or degree in the natural sciences
• Dependable, responsible, and organized
• Fun-loving, creative, and engaging
• Must have reliable transportation
