This position will work as part of the interpretive team that performs a variety of duties such as developing schedules, presenting environmental and nature education courses and workshops; recruit, retain and train seasonal and volunteer staff to conduct park programs encouraging Game, Fish and Parks facility use. This position will serve as a daily lead to seasonal staff throughout the year.
Additionally, this position will present interactive, creative, age-appropriate, onsite and offsite interpretive programs throughout the year, as well as develop new and innovative programing for the park. This position is expected to develop educational courses by planning and writing scripts and preparing lesson outlines. This position will also be responsible for evaluating and developing educational material, interpretive panels and exhibits to enhance the visitors experience.
