Responsibilities include developing and delivering educational outreach programs and coordinating and conducting site tours for clients and tour groups. Both classroom and community presentations may also be required. Duties may include occasional collection of field samples, data entry, and statistical analysis of data. Periodic evening and weekend work may be necessary.

Required qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor’s Degree in education, biology, environmental science, ecology, or related field, with a strong educational focus, plus 1 year of related experience; must have at least 3 years of related experience in addition to the degree requirement to be qualified for the ESII. Must have a valid driver’s license with less than 5 points.

Preferred skills include: strong organizational and computer skills, work well in a team setting, and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
