Opening for WREN's Education Director

WREN's mission is engaging learners, increasing their appreciation for local wetlands and other natural communities, increasing their knowledge for the role of critical habitat supporting key species, and enhancing our community's commitment to collaborations and partnerships, such as the 'Rivers to Ridges' partners. Our Education Director provides program leadership, directs a variety of environmental education programming to reaching youth, adults, and families, and supports the work of staff and community members/volunteers. Our programs focus on getting people out on the landscapes, and sharing the science undergirding how preserving and increasing wetland habitats and their Threatened and Endangered species, as part of the complex of projects in the West Eugene Wetlands.

Position: FTE 1.0, exempt, reports to: WREN Board's Staff Liaison, and the location is at WREN's West Eugene Wetlands office and local travel.
