Overview:
Key Responsibilities: Develop learning programs, manage schedule and budget, and create organizational curriculum.

Part-time position: 14-21 hours a week includes 20 hours of paid time off annually @ $18/hour.
The Education Coordinator may be asked to work during weekend events, and school vacation weeks or to find suitable educators to serve in this capacity. Responsibilities include coordinating staff, teachers, parents, and other logistics for the youth and family events as well as troubleshooting any problems that arise. This includes consulting with museum staff when
necessary.
Qualifications: 2-4 years experience in teaching in science or business/nonprofit administration preferred; College degree in arts or science education, or relevant life experience; superb customer and relationship management skills; ability to work independently; excellent
organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills. Supervisory experience preferred.
Flexible schedule required with some availability during school vacation weeks, evenings and weekends.
