EcoKayak is a unique program that teaches students life sciences, emphasizing on biology, chemistry, ecology, geology and marine biology on the water and in our classroom on Commencement Bay. The Foss Waterway Seaport works with THRIVE students from Hilltop Heritage Middle School and Metro Parks outdoor guides to form a 9 week hands on science experience. You will be kayaking every day, and co-teaching with an Environmental Educator from the Seaport, for 13 hours a week. Hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 7:30am-10:30am, from September 9th - November 12th. This position is temporary, and will not be extended.

Pay: $2,130 ($18.00 per hour capped at 117 hours)
