The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for development, management, coordination, and execution of recruiting potential CNR undergraduate and graduate students to enroll while contributing to the overall recruitment and enrollment efforts at UW-Stevens Point. This position requires the ability to travel throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Upper Michigan region as well as nationally, and internationally if needed. The incumbent will have daily contact with prospective students, parents, school counselors, University officials, and agencies outside of the University. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication; 
• Professional experience in a natural resource field, college admissions, or recruitment; 
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with both day and overnight trips 

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, natural resources or related field; 
• Ability to gain knowledge of natural resources, paper and chemical engineering industries; 
• Experience working with diverse audiences 
• Demonstrated experience with maintaining confidentiality. 
• Understanding of academic programs available in the College
