PUDDLESTOMPERS is seeking a creative, energetic individual with a passion for nature and a genuine interest in connecting young children to the natural world in the Boston area to join our teaching team! Through hands-on exploration, STEM-based activities, games, and nature crafts, our programs are designed to foster a love of the natural world in all four seasons.

Responsibilities:

Lead children and parents in a 1-hour birthday party program. The program includes an explanation of a lesson, hands-on investigation, outdoor exploration, active movement or games, and a craft. This is a part-time weekend position that requires a 1.5-2 hour commitment per birthday party. Parties are held at our Nature Center in Newton or at family homes in the Greater Boston area.

Qualifications:

- Prior teaching experience with 2-8 year olds
- Experience in outdoor education and/or degree in the natural sciences a plus
- Dependable, responsible, and organized
- Fun-loving, creative, and engaging
- Reliable transportation is a must

Compensation: $64 per party
