In general, this position will assist with teacher professional development activities related to the Waterfront Campus Planning and Development, work with Baltimore City Teachers and Aquarium staff to develop stewardship activities and format project curriculum materials.  The coordinator will provide logistical support and scheduling for project meetings, keep records for all programs, attendance, and projects, and create reports as needed.   

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in science or science education and minimum of 3 years’ experience in an education environment.  Curriculum development experience extremely encouraged.  Advance degree and teacher in-service experience useful.  Current Maryland driver’s license and clean driving record.
