The 2023 Chesapeake B-WET Funding Opportunity for School District Programming is open. Chesapeake B-WET is a competitive grant program that supports existing, high-quality environmental education programs and fosters the growth of new, innovative programs. It encourages capacity building and partnership development for environmental education programs throughout the entire Chesapeake Bay watershed.
The 2023 Hawaii B-WET Funding Opportunity is now open. The purpose for this financial assistance is to support our communities by developing well-informed members of society involved in decision-making that positively impacts our coastal, marine, and watershed ecosystems in the Hawaiian Islands.
The 2023 Gulf of Mexico B-WET funding opportunity is now open. Gulf B-WET funding will support student investigation of environmental topics and issues, both locally and globally, that are of interest to them. Gulf B-WET funding also supports high-quality professional development for teachers allowing them to gain confidence in the value of MWEEs and strategies for conducting MWEEs with students.
Affiliate leaders are needed to help inform a new Affiliate Fund at NAAEE. We anticipate engaging approximately 8 individuals, including Affiliate leaders to advise the design of an RFP and serve as reviewers for funding requests.
