CaNOE (Canadian Network for Ocean Education) is a registered non-profit society that works to advance ocean literacy in Canada. CaNOE is looking for Canadian Directors to join our volunteer Board and contribute to our goal of an ocean literate Canadian society.

Education is an often overlooked tool in the marine conservation toolbox but an essential key to the ocean we need for the future we want.

CaNOE is a volunteer organization without any paid employees. Board members are also volunteers and are elected at the AGM in September. Generally in order to stand for election to the Board, interested members have to have had some experience at the working group level. That is why we want the call out to go early to enable that participation and see where there might be a good fit.
