Responsibilities/Deliverables:

• Teach hands-on science programming to 2nd through 7th grades classes
• Familiarize self with all curriculum in preparation for classroom and field-based lessons
• Pick up, drop off and organize supplies for all programs
• Attend trainings, as requested

Qualifications:

• Experience in informal science education
• Basic scientific knowledge (or a willingness to learn)
• Well organized, detail-oriented, thorough, and accurate
• Ability to work in a fast paced, energetic, dynamic environment
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to accept and integrate feedback
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Have a genuine interest in our mission and vision

Other Requirements:

• Pass a fingerprinting / background check and complete a Tuberculosis assessment.
• Have a valid Driver’s License, vehicle insurance, and clean driving record.
