NAAEE is seeking a highly qualified candidate to oversee NAAEE’s operations, including managing a team, budget management, staffing, HR needs, grant administration, overall office management, and membership services. The Manager will also provide input on NAAEE’s strategic direction working closely with the Executive Director, our accountants, the management team, and NAAEE Board of Directors. This position requires an individual who is flexible and willing to learn and work in all aspects of the organization’s programs.

This position reports to the Executive Director and works with the entire team to ensure an efficient and smooth functioning work environment and culture. Our preference is for this position to be based in the Eastern or Central time zone. For details, see the complete job description


Candidates should have a minimum of 5–7 years of experience in administration, accounting, budget management, grant management (including federal government grants), and supervision. This position requires a bachelor’s degree in operations or a program-related area. A master’s degree is a plus, as well as experience managing large government grants and program budgets. We have a strong preference for applicants who take initiative and are open to learning new systems. Candidates must have an ability to work efficiently, with flexibility, creativity, initiative, positive energy, discretion, and good humor.
