Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with guide orders, tracking, and reporting requirements for KAEE programs.
  • Oversee updates to websites, Mailchimp, and other software.
  • Manage eeCredentials course enrollment.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff.
  • Oversee data management and clean-up for our various databases, including our grant calendar, sponsorship database, and our regional landscape analysis.
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements and other logistics for in-person and virtual events.
  • Assist Education Director with development of outreach materials such as banners, displays, rack cards, programs, etc.Engage in pre-approved professional development opportunities that will enhance leadership, management, or other skill areas.  
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate will be exceptional in the use of Weebly, Mailchimp, Moodle, Google Sheets and Google Suite, and/or have the ability to pick up new programs quickly and proficiently with little to no guidance.  This candidate will be responsible for managing these programs on a daily basis and will need to have a firm understanding of how to use them and how to train others to conduct basic tasks in these programs.  More specifically, this candidate will be responsible for organizing, updating, and cleaning up multiple databases within multiple programs.  This individual should have excellent spelling, grammar, typing, organizational skills, and attention to detail, and the ability to work well remotely and as part of a remote team.  A background or experience in education, nonprofit management, administration, business, or a natural resource-related field is preferred but not required.  

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Compensation and Benefits: This is a halftime position working approximately 20 hours per week.  We believe in work-life balance and a family-friendly schedule and therefore offer flexible hours, 10 days of vacation time, 12 days of sick leave, and 12.5 paid holidays accrued per year (based on a half-day schedule of 4 hours per day).  This is a work-from-home position, although travel to meetings may be required.  The applicant must reside in Kentucky.  Reimbursement will be given for costs incurred during work-related travel.
