We are well on our way through February, which is also Black History Month! This month is a great opportunity to highlight Black environmentalists. What resources and/or activities are you using to celebrate Black History Month in your work?
The organization I work for, Education Outside, teaches science and environmental stewardship in public schoolyard gardens in San Francisco, along with growing, harvesting, and cooking with students. We have been utilizing a list of resources from the San Francisco Public Library, which I've linked on this post, and can hopefully be found at many libraries across North America.
I'm excited to learn from the group!
