Fireworks Curriculum

As fire become a bigger and bigger part of our reality, due to years of fire suppression, changes in land use, and climate change, it is important that we begin to educate our youth more about fire. If you want a wonderful resources for teaching about wildfire that covers the physics of wildfire, fire ecology, and fire preparedness, check out the FireWorks Curriculum available for free at https://www.frames.gov/fireworks/home. The FireWorks curriculum originally built for the Northern Rockies, had since been adapted for the Sierra Nevada, Sagebrush, and Missouri River Country. The Northern California Oak Woodlands will be coming out soon, along with a few other ecoregions in the works. If you have any questions about this resource let me know!
